I received my Bachelor in Arts degree from California Baptist University in 2011. I majored in Communications Studies and minored in Global Studies.
Experience
Worked as an ESL tutor while in college. I have experience in ESL programs abroad (China, Japan and India) I enjoy tutoring because it is a much more relaxed environment than sitting in a classroom; you are able to get more out of the learning experience. The tutor and the tutee both learn together within the ESL subject. Relevant courses that I took during my undergrad include Intercultural Communications, Interpersonal Communications and Global Perspectives. I worked for a year and a half as a teaching assistant at a private school that specialized in ESL to international middle and high school students. Through this job, I was able to broaden my ESL teaching experience.

Hobbies
I enjoying cooking and baking for my family. I traveled a lot while in college and a little bit after college with my husband. My most recent and favorite travel spots include Japan and Montreal, Quebec CA After having my first child, I became interested in childbirth education so I enjoy researching and educating within that field as well as ESL. I have been teaching myself how to play guitar since I was a teenager.
